{"id":6,"date":"2016-04-08T16:25:57","date_gmt":"2016-04-08T16:25:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.estudio384.org\/experimenta\/expat17\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2017-02-05T21:01:59","modified_gmt":"2017-02-05T21:01:59","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/expat.org.pt\/expat17\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Experiment@ International Conference 2017 (exp.at&#8217;17) is the 4th event of the conference series exp.at\u2019xx.<\/p>\n<p>exp.at&#8217;17, a joint organisation of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sigarra.up.pt\/up\/pt\/web_base.gera_pagina?p_pagina=home\" target=\"_blank\">University of Porto<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uc.pt\/en\" target=\"_blank\">University of Coimbra<\/a><\/strong>, is held at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ualg.pt\/en\" target=\"_blank\">University of Algarve<\/a><\/strong>, Portugal, with its collaboration and the technical support of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">IEEE<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieee-ies.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">IEEE Industrial Electronics Society<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/ieee-edusociety.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">IEEE Education Society<\/a>) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ordemengenheiros.pt\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Portuguese Engineers Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>exp.at&#8217;17 continues the biennial event series dedicated to online experimentation, contributing to extend the world capabilities in this particular area and to develop collaborative work in emerging technologies, bringing together engineers, researchers and professionals from different areas.<\/p>\n<p>exp.at\u201917 provides a three-day (plus pre- and post-conference days) forum of discussion and collaboration between academics, researchers and industry and medicine professionals, trying to bridge the gap between academic applications and the real world needs and experiences.
